Seniors who do not belong to a hospital system can pre-schedule with Meijer or Rite Aid. Only online appointments accepted. No “walk ups”. Register at https://clinic.meijer.com or https://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier.
Hamtramck residents can also call Wayne County Healthy Communities, located at 9021 Joseph Campau in the Town Center, at 313-871-1926 and follow the phone tree to Covid Testing. There, you can leave a message stating that you would like to make a vaccine appointment. Please make sure you leave your phone number, as a member of their staff will call you back to set your appointment time.
