City of Hamtramck Notice of Public Hearing

The City of Hamtramck ZBA will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 6:00pm via Zoom and streaming live on the city’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CityofHamtramck/) due to the inability to gather in person because of COVID-19 concerns. The public is invited to virtually attend and comment or to make written comments before the date of the hearing. Address written comments to Grace Stamper, ATTN: ZBA, 3401 Evaline St., Hamtramck, MI 48212. The subject of the hearing is:
- 8610 Conant is seeking a variance from the setback requirements for corner buildings and requirement for parking to be located a maximum 35 feet off the rear lot line and behind the main building per Article VI-1.05.2 a and 1.06 a, i. and III-5.06.11.1 of the Hamtramck Zoning Ordinance.
- 2024 Caniff is seeking a use variance to have commercial retail sales and services in a residential zone per Article V-1.02 and III-5.06.11.2 of the Hamtramck Zoning Ordinance
