Yard waste pickup begins April 1, and runs through November 30.
For most Hamtramck residents, yard waste pickup will occur at the FRONT curb of your home on your regular garbage collection day. Yard waste should be placed in paper yard waste bags, or placed in containers no larger than 32 gallons. Tree branches may be tied into bundles no larger than 4 feet in length and 18 inches in diameter.
